Paid Internship - Data and AI Intern

Job Description

You will be working with the Head of Data and AI office on R&D and Product initiatives on every stage of an AI and Data lifecycle within our Montrose Software AI and Data framework. With Empowered Product Team principles you will assist defining MVPs tailor cut to the needs of clients, getting intimate with Data to tell the right stories,developing proof of concepts in notebooks, and productionizing the MVPs with the MLOps mindset.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop proof of concepts of Data and AI products and solutions,
• Conduct market and technologies research to assist with specification of technology stacks needed to solve specific challenges,
• Assist with Business Intelligence reporting to shape the focus for Data solutions,
• Assist development of end to end Data products and solutions with an MLOps mindset within montrose software Data and AI development framework.
  
  

Qualifications

• You are a student, recent graduates, or individuals transitioning into the AI/tech field (at least 2nd year of studies),
• Familiarity with Machine Learning mathematical toolboxes,
• Proficiency in Python, pandas, numpy, Matplotlib, HuggingFace Transformers, FastApi, pytoch
• SQL, Jupyter notebooks,
• LLMs, agentic architectures,
• Understanding of Database architectures, OLTP, OLAP, vector and graph databases,
• Curious to learn new skills/technologies,
• Innovative and collaborative personality focused on tangible outcomes,
• Analytical thinking,
• Very good in spoken and written English.
