In our IT department Innovation, Emerging Technologies, we develop technical solutions that simplify the way the entire company works. Our team industrializes emerging technologies for production. During the incubation phase, new technologies are validated with regard to their value contribution in various use cases at the BMW Group. Are you enthusiastic about new technologies and an innovative environment? We offer you an internship in the field of LLM / LMM Agents.

What awaits you?

• In this internship, the focus is primarily on implementing proof of concept applications that rely on AI Agents to solve a concrete business need.
• Besides the AI technology itself, you will also work on optimizing the user interaction with it.
• You will focus on optimizing pieces of an AI agent workflow to improve overall accuracy and reliability.
• Moreover, you will work with different modalities, e.g. text, images, audio.
• You will develop and maintain both backend and frontend components as a full-stack developer, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
• Your job also includes generalizing solutions and contributing code to an internal application while being part of a development team.
• Last but not least, you will work in an interdisciplinary team in close cooperation with business partners
  
  

What should you bring along?

• Studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable field of study.
• Willingness to deal with the latest technologies and to implement theory in code-based solution.
• Knowledge of classic software development (e.g. Python or Javascript), databases, version control, and operating systems.
• First experience with Natural Language Processing and experience working in shared code base.
• Very good analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary and intercultural team.
• Very good knowledge of English.
