Head of Artificial Intelligence

We are currently recruiting for an experienced AI leader to join a reputable client of ours to lead the firm's AI function at a time of continued digital innovation. This will be a pivotal role within the organization, with influence both internally and within the wider professional services arena.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute a comprehensive AI vision that reflects shifting legal industry dynamics, rising client demands, and emerging tech capabilities.
• Convert strategic business objectives into a practical and progressive AI implementation plan.
• Collaborate across business functions to uncover impactful AI applications and embed consistent, effective usage standards.
• Design and oversee governance models that support ethical, secure, and regulation-aligned deployment of AI technologies.
• Proactively manage potential challenges around data security, confidentiality obligations, and professional conduct in the context of AI.
• Spearhead internal AI policy development to ensure thoughtful, accountable, and sustainable use of emerging technologies.
• Monitor the evolving intersection of AI and sector-focused services to spot growth opportunities and stay ahead of competitive threats.
• Evaluate how AI can transform client interactions and enhance the delivery of services for a competitive edge.
• Drive initiatives to improve AI fluency across the organization through focused education, training, and practical tools.
• Align people, processes, and systems to support scalable, long-term integration of AI across the firm.
