The opportunity

Are you passionate about data, AI, and making a real impact from day one? We’re looking for a bright, curious, and motivated graduate to join our data team in Dubai. This is your chance to work on meaningful projects in energy and sustainability, while learning how to apply the latest in machine learning, AI tools, and large language models (LLMs) to real-world challenges.

What exactly will you do?

• Work with our team to analyse and interpret data from different sources, including sensors, APIs, and customer platforms.
• Help build models that predict trends, improve efficiency, and generate insights from energy-related data.
• Assist in creating machine learning solutions and integrating them into real-world applications with help from our engineering team.
• Explore modern tools like OpenAI, Hugging Face, or LangChain to experiment with how LLMs can be applied to our products.
• Stay curious and keep up with new developments in AI, data science, and the tools that support them.
• Take part in brainstorming sessions, code reviews, and planning meetings; your ideas will be heard.
• Contribute to dashboards, reports, or prototypes that deliver actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
  
  

What we’re looking for

• A recent graduate (or up to 1 year of experience) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics, or a related field.
• Some hands-on experience through a university project, internship, or personal work involving Python, data analysis, or machine learning.
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts. You’ve maybe played around with Jupyter notebooks, trained a model, or tested an LLM API for fun.
• Comfortable with data manipulation using pandas, NumPy, or SQL.
• Eager to learn tools like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, and explore LLM tools like OpenAI API, LangChain, etc.
• Excellent communication skills. You can explain what you’re working on to someone who’s not a data expert.
• A team player with a growth mindset, excited to learn and contribute.
  
  

Bonus points

• Knowledge of time series data or experience working with energy, IoT, or sustainability projects.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or tools like Git, Docker, or APIs.
