Salary: $180K-$220K + Equity

We’re recruiting on behalf of a pioneering company in the sleep fitness industry, dedicated to enhancing human potential through optimal sleep. They are seeking an experienced R&D Machine Learning Scientist to join their innovative team. This company is at the forefront of developing advanced hardware, software, and AI technology to transform sleep into a personalized, data-driven recovery experience.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding product features by designing next-generation algorithms. Your work will directly impact the development of new health metrics that promote better sleep and health outcomes. Collaborating with a cross-functional R&D and production team, you will prototype and implement solutions that enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design innovative health algorithms to expand product features
• Collaborate with product managers and clinical researchers to define specifications and study designs
• Train and validate machine learning models
• Coordinate with software development teams to integrate models into production

The ideal candidate will bring a systematic approach to problem-solving and a passion for health technologies. You will be data-driven, making informed decisions to deliver top-tier products to users. Your ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with various teams will be key to your success.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• 4+ years of industry experience in machine learning or equivalent postgraduate research
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch or Tensorflow
• Expertise in signal processing and conditioning techniques for physiological signals
• Experience in productionizing algorithms
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MS or PhD preferred
• Experience in Generative AI/LLMs
