Job Title: AI Strategy & Policy Consultant (Manager Level) – Contract

Contract Duration: 6–12 months (with potential extension)

About the Role

We are supporting a client who is seeking an experienced AI Strategy & Policy Consultant (Manager level) for a 6–12 month contract engagement. The role will focus on advising senior stakeholders on AI adoption strategies, governance frameworks, and policy development, ensuring that AI initiatives are aligned with both organizational goals and regulatory standards.

This is a direct client engagement (not via our firm), ideal for candidates with a strong consulting background who can combine strategic advisory with a solid understanding of AI technologies, ethics, and policy frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver AI strategy projects for the client, covering adoption roadmaps, operating models, and investment priorities.
• Develop and implement AI governance frameworks, risk controls, and ethical guidelines in line with international best practices.
• Provide advisory on AI-related policies and regulatory frameworks, including national AI strategies.
• Identify and prioritize AI/ML use cases across industries such as telecom, energy, government, and financial services.
• Work closely with client leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of AI initiatives.
• Produce thought leadership and reports on AI strategy and governance trends to support client positioning.

Qualifications & Experience

• 6–10+ years of experience in consulting, advisory, or strategy, with strong exposure to AI and digital transformation.
• Demonstrated experience with AI policy, governance, and ethics frameworks (corporate or national level).
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms, and data ecosystems.
• Experience engaging with governments, regulators, or senior corporate stakeholders is highly desirable.
• Consulting background (Big 4, MBB, or top-tier boutique) strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or Public Policy; MBA or advanced degree desirable.
