AI Specialist

Job Description

You will drive the organisation’s AI strategy by enabling staff to leverage AI features in Microsoft 365 and other enterprise applications, while also developing AI solutions on the company’s data warehouse using Microsoft Fabric. This role combines training, adoption, and hands-on development to ensure AI delivers measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

AI Training & Adoption

• Deliver training programs on AI features in Microsoft 365 (Copilot, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint).
• Promote AI best practices and act as the internal AI champion.
  
  

Harnessing Built-in AI in Enterprise Application

• Identify and optimize AI capabilities in ERP, CRM, BIM, and other core systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to integrate AI-driven workflows.
  
  

AI Development on Data Warehouse (Microsoft Fabric)

• Build and deploy AI/ML models leveraging Microsoft Fabric and the enterprise data lake
• Work with data engineers to ensure data readiness for AI initiatives.
• Develop predictive analytics and insights for business decision-making.
  
  

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure responsible AI use, adhering to data privacy, security, and ethical standards.
  
  

Performance & Reporting

• Define KPIs for AI adoption and solution performance; report progress to the CIO.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 AI features and Power Platform.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, data lakes, and AI/ML model development.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Excellent communication and training skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in change management and digital adoption programs.
• Familiarity with construction or engineering software (if relevant).
• Knowledge of AI governance and compliance frameworks.
