The Opportunity

We’re seeking a motivated AI Research Intern to join our team for a 4-6 month project, working 32-40 hours per week. Your mission? To explore AI-driven solutions that can interact with web-based user interfaces (UIs) to perform tasks, such as booking upsells directly in PMS platforms. This role is perfect for a curious, proactive individual with some programming experience who’s eager to dive into AI innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Research AI-UI Interaction Models: Investigate existing AI tools and frameworks that can interact with web UIs (e.g., login to platforms, execute complex actions, adapt to changes in the UI, adjust the interaction flow).
• Evaluate Feasibility: Assess the ease of programming workflows, speed, and scalability of these AI solutions for Runnr.ai ’s needs in the hospitality sector.
• Develop a Proof of Concept (POC): Build a prototype demonstrating an AI model performing a number of complex actions in one of the PMS providers' UI (e.g. processing an upsell request).
• Document Findings: Summarize your research, including insights on technical feasibility and potential for scaling.
• Collaborate: Work closely with our team, reporting to the Integrations Department, to align your findings with our goal of faster PMS integrations and seamless upsell capabilities.

Who You Are

• A student or recent graduate in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field (BSc or MSc level).
• Basic programming experience (e.g., Python, or similar). Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks or web automation tools (e.g., UIPath) is a plus.
• Curious and self-motivated, with a passion for solving technical challenges and exploring innovative solutions.
• Comfortable working independently on research tasks while collaborating with a small, dynamic team.
• Strong communication skills to document and present findings clearly.
• Bonus: Interest in hospitality tech or experience with web-based UI automation.
