About the Role:
We’re hiring a mid-level AI & Machine Learning Engineer to help us solve high-value problems across our national field operations and sales teams. You'll work cross-functionally with marketing, sales leadership, dispatch, customer care, and regional operators to build ML solutions that are deployed — and used — in the real world.
This role blends technical execution with a strong understanding of how AI drives measurable outcomes like revenue per appointment, jobs per day, and churn reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, train, and deploy models to:
Score and prioritize inbound leads for sales agents
Predict appointment outcomes (no-shows, reschedules, close probability)
Recommend optimal appointment windows and tech routine
Forecast technician capacity needs by region and season
Analyze agent talk tracks and performance using NLP on call transcripts
Partner with operations and sales teams to identify high-impact automation or prediction use cases
Package models for use via internal dashboards, APIs, or embedded tools
Support continuous improvement by retraining and tuning models based on business feedback
Translate field-level insights into data features and modeling opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile:
3–5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role
Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience in Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
Proven track record of production-level deployment of ML models (batch or real-time)
Strong grasp of model performance metrics and business alignment
Experience working with business stakeholders in Sales, Operations, or Customer Service
Knowledge of cloud environments (GCP preferred), MLOps tools (MLflow, Vertex AI, or similar), and REST APIs
Nice-to-Haves:
Familiarity with route optimization, geospatial data, or technician dispatching logic
Experience with predictive modeling in sales funnels (e.g., LTV, churn, conversion scoring)
Exposure to voice analysis or call center automation tools (e.g., Twilio, RingCentral APIs)
Prior experience in home services, logistics, or field-based businesses
Basic understanding of Tableau, Power BI, or dashboard integration for model outputs
