Engineer Real-World AI Agents for WasteHero
WasteHero is scaling fast and making AI agentic automation a core company strength. We’re looking for a student with serious software skills to help us build, ship, and own agent-powered automations and LLM integrations—using real company data, not toy projects.
You will design, implement, and deploy agent workflows and GenAI tools that deliver business-critical results. You’ll work directly with management and technical team.
What You'll Do
- Build, test, and deploy agentic automation flows using Python (or similar mainstream language), open-source GenAI/LLM frameworks (LangChain, FlowiseAI, CrewAI, etc.), and APIs.
- Develop and integrate data pipelines: web scraping, document loaders, database connections, vector DBs (e.g., Pinecone, ChromaDB), and workflow automation.
- Prototype and launch tools: agent-based web scraping (e.g., tender detection), knowledge chatbots (RAG, prompt engineering), automated document classification, content production (e.g., marketing automation, LinkedIn, etc.), and more.
- End-to-end execution: from initial research and spec, to coding, deployment, and maintenance—your solutions must work in production.
- Collaborate closely with management and technical leads to define requirements, iterate, and deliver on mission-critical projects.
- Currently studying software engineering, computer science, data science, or similar technical degree.
- Strong programming ability (Python highly preferred; JS/Node/Java/C# also considered if your GenAI/agent work is strong).
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI APIs, agentic development frameworks (e.g., LangChain, FlowiseAI, CrewAI, OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.).
- Skilled with APIs, web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Playwright, Selenium, etc.), data parsing, and workflow automation
- Can work independently: take a project from idea to working script/app with minimal hand-holding.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, and vector databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate, etc.)
- Experience with cloud deployment, Docker, or CI/CD
- Built and deployed AI chatbots, automations, or custom tools in the real world
- Understanding of workflow tools like Make.com, Zapier, Airflow, or n8n
- Real code, real impact: Your agents and automations will go live—no busywork.
- Direct access: Work closely with management and technical leads to define and deliver what matters.
- Learning by doing: Move faster, learn more, and build a portfolio of real GenAI/agentic projects.
- Career growth: Top performers will have opportunities for advanced roles as WasteHero scales.
- If shortlisted, you’ll receive a practical case (e.g., design an agent to scrape and analyze public tenders using real sources and CPV codes).
- You’ll present your architecture, show your code/design, and answer technical questions from our tech team and management.
