Technology Associate - Relocation to Dubai

Job Purpose

Are you a fresh graduate ready to shape the future of technology and travel with one of the world’s leading aviation brands? As a Technology Associate, you will join a fast-paced one-year development experience within Emirates Group IT, gaining hands-on exposure, mentorship, and opportunities across diverse technology specialisations including AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and software engineering.

The Technology Associate is part of the Emirates Group IT team and supports the design, development, implementation and maintenance of technology solutions and products that enable and enhance Emirates Group business operations.

In This Role, You Will:

• Perform relevant technical tasks with a goal of developing scalable and sustainable solutions using established technology and engineering principle.
• Participate in analysing business and system requirements to support the technical design process and contribute to the development of technical solutions aligned with agreed standard.
• Develop, configure, test and implement technology solutions within a collaborative team environment to meet both functional and technical requirements.
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve system or application issues. Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Collaborate with members of cross-functional teams to identify areas of inefficiency and propose improvements, while adhering to Emirates Group IT standards, guidelines and best practices.
• Contribute to unit testing, validation and quality assurance activities with guidance from senior team members.
• Support the maintenance of Technology Playbooks, standards documentation and other governance artefacts.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or technology related field.
• CGPA: 3.0 or higher (or equivalent).
• 1+ years of experience through exposure to current technologies in coursework or through internships in technology related fields.

This role is designed as an entry point for a university graduate in a technology related field of study as mentioned above.

Skills/Knowledge:

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse technical challenges and contribute to well-designed, efficient and quality technology solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, with open communication and a positive team mindset.
• Foundational understanding of technology delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps practices) and quality assurance concepts including unit testing, functional testing and test automation.
• Demonstrable passion for exploring and learning new technologies aligned to business needs.
• Exposure to one or more contemporary technology domains (e.g., application development, cloud, enterprise platforms, integration, data, digital or security technologies), with foundational understanding relevant to business requirements.

This is a full time, office based opportunity located in our Dubai headquarters. Successful candidates will be supported with a comprehensive relocation package, with Emirates arranging and assisting throughout the relocation process to ensure a smooth transition to Dubai.
