AI Researcher

I’m currently partnering with a leading global insurance organization to hire an AI Researcher within their regional AI innovation team based in Singapore.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about applying cutting-edge AI and GenAI technologies to real-world business problems at scale. The role sits within a highly visible AI function focused on research, experimentation, and innovation across the insurance domain.

Key areas of exposure include:

• Exploring and applying emerging AI/LLM technologies
• Building prototypes and proof-of-concepts for business use cases
• Collaborating with academia, research communities, and industry stakeholders
• Driving AI innovation across customer experience, underwriting, and claims
• Contributing to technical thought leadership and AI best practices

Ideal background:

• Education qualification in Data, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Experience in AI/ML research or advanced analytics
• Strong hands-on skills in Python and modern AI frameworks
• Exposure to GenAI, LLMs, NLP, or applied machine learning
• Ability to bridge research with practical implementation
• Insurance or financial services experience is a plus
