Job Description

AI Engineers are responsible for building multi-channel customer interaction agents on Google Cloud Platform.

• Design agent logic using the Agent Development Kit (ADK), define runtime tools, enable grounded responses through function/tool calling and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and own prompt design
• Work within agile squads, bringing expertise in LLM engineering (prompting, few-shot learning, Gemini API), ADK-based agent orchestration, and Vertex AI Agent Engine deployment
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python (including async patterns, FastAPI, and testing
• Implement function/tool calling, Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, and apply RAG concepts such as embedding strategies, retrieval quality, and corpus management
• Ensure production readiness through evaluation and safety practices, including guardrails, hallucination detection, and output validation
• Provide troubleshooting support for agent deployment, performance optimization, defect triaging, and log inspection
• Experience with Dialogflow CX, webhook development, conversation design, and Cloud Run
